I grew up speaking arabic, and I love that language to death. The way the consonants sound is literally the best. So many arabic concepts describe such precise emotions with an intertwining system of verbage, consonance, and syntax that make it just beautiful. It's such a poetic language that one of its cohesive documents, the Quran, is poetry in itself, sparking insanely eloquent and borderline entrancing readings
I have some issues with it though.
Some grammatical structures are inneficient and antiquated, such as the gendered objects that present a significant barrier to the access of extreme artistic potential for others, and even native speakers.
furthermore, the vocabulary is so vast that even my parents and relatives have to ask what a casually used word means, even as speakers of the language for decades.
overall, I want a language that sounds nice to me. I've attempted to build a language with simple but beautiful grammar, arabic-like consonants, and a limited but precise vocabulary, much in the same vein as toki pona.
